Great ideas are born in silence. Every person needs to retire at some point and meditate. We proposed to allocate in Skolkovo space a “sacred” point, located in the very center of Innograd, but torn off from the usual reality by the lake’s surface.
The central point of Skolkovo becomes a kind of “point of rest” – a place of deep inner concentration and intellectual insights.
“Resting Point” is a metal disc floating in the middle of the lake, which can be reached by boat. The disk is a semblance of an information carrier, a “treasure trove of knowledge” – the main asset of the future Innograd, a kind of central server of Skolkovo.
Disc users can indulge in secluded reflections or organize round tables for interdisciplinary discussions of the most important scientific issues.
